Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Oatmeal
- 1 cup Flour, sifted
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Butter, soft
- 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/2 cup Dark Corn Syrup
- 1/2 cup Peanuts (roasted & salted)
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream the shortening/butter with brown sugar.
- Add corn syrup, egg, and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, sift Flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add to the sugar mixture and mix it well.
- Stir in the oats and peanuts.
- With a spoon, drop tablespoons of the batter onto a cookie sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
